Build a home. Thrivent Builds Homes give you the opportunity to help one of the 14 million American families who have critical housing needs. The program joins the nearly 3 million Thrivent Financial for Lutherans® members with Lutheran congregations, communities, partner families and Habitat for Humanity International® affiliates to build up to 500 homes per year by 2008. Nationwide house-building begins $21.7 million effort will increase Habitat home production by 6 percent To create additional homeownership opportunities with low-income families, Habitat for Humanity International and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are joining together to build up to 312 U.S. homes in 2006. More than 200 communities in 43 states will be building homes. This $21.7 million investment is part of the four-year, $105 million alliance, called Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity.
