Habitat for Humanity needs your donation to build houses!

Since 1989, Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus has helped low-income families reach their dreams of a place to call home. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat constructs and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner-partner families. Habitat houses are sold to these families at no profit and financed with affordable no-interest loans. The homeowner's monthly mortgage payments are used to build even more houses.

House Sponsorship Opportunities

Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus is able to keep the houses it builds affordable by utilizing volunteers, donated materials and monetary contributions.  Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated.  The house sponsorship is one of the larger monetary donations HFHS receives. Building Materials

All building materials and other items will be accepted if they are in good usable condition at the Habitat ReStore. Any items we can not use on the homes under construction, will be be sold to the public. Items can be dropped off at the ReStore, located at 630 Kearney Avenue in Modesto. The ReStore will also make arrangements to pick them up. Call (209) 575-4585 ext.112  to schedule for a pick up.

Gulf Coast Hurricane Relief

Habitat for Humanity is leading an historic effort to house a great number of low-income families left homeless by the recent hurricanes along the Gulf Coast.

These back-to-back hurricanes have not only caused catastrophic damage and shattered lives, but they have also driven the cost of construction materials to unprecedented levels - stretching Habitat very thin and straining our resources to the limits. That's why your support is so urgently needed.
